Raipur 17 January 2025: The Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department has issued a show cause notice to contractor Keshavdas R. Jadwani for poor quality work. The department has said in the notice issued to the contractor that after the asphalting of the overbridge, when the traffic started, ballast started coming out, which had an adverse effect on the quality of the work. The contractor’s negligence is clearly reflected in this. For this, the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department, Setu Parikshetra Raipur has recommended to suspend/demoted the registration of the contractor. The department has told the contractor in the notice that your act is against the government and public interest. Therefore, why should your registration not be cancelled/demoted/suspended for this act? The contractor has been asked to submit the reply to the show cause notice to the Chief Engineer’s office within 15 days. In case the reply is not received within the given time period, unilateral action will be taken assuming that the contractor has nothing to say in this regard.
