Raipur 14 January 2025: Lord Shri Ram is present in every particle of Chhattisgarh, in every person. Lord Shri Ram is our nephew Ram. Chhattisgarh is the only state in the whole world where nephew is worshipped as God, his feet are washed. He is bowed down and saluted. More than 20 thousand people of the state have visited Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya through Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yojana of our government. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said the above things today on the occasion of the inauguration of the three-day Tatapani Mahotsav in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. Chief Minister Sai said that we come here every year on Tatapani Sankranti festival. Last year when we came here, we had announced to develop this holy place as a tourist destination. The result is in front of you all, today the picture looks quite changed. Development work has been done here rapidly and is being done continuously. The Chief Minister said that there are immense possibilities in the field of tourism in Chhattisgarh. Especially in Surguja and Bastar districts, there are many such beautiful places, which can become the center of attraction for the whole world. By identifying such places, the development of tourist places is being done rapidly. Tatapani is also one of such places. We will develop all these scenic places as tourist places. This will increase employment and income opportunities. Right now we have inaugurated and done Bhoomi Pujan of 198 development works worth Rs 177 crore.  These include Bhoomi Pujan of 140 works costing about Rs 134 crore and inauguration of 58 works worth Rs 43 crore. The Chief Minister said that we have performed Bhoomi Pujan today for the construction of Nalanda campus, the construction of which will give special benefits to the youth preparing for competitive examinations. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced the construction of an auditorium in Balrampur College.

Chief Minister Sai said that today 300 daughters have got married under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana. He blessed all the newlyweds and wished everyone a happy married life. The Chief Minister said that Tatapani Sankranti Parba is the pride of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. Tatapani is one of the few places in the world where the power of nature can be seen directly in the form of hot water ponds.  He said that this event of Tatapani Sankranti Parba also gives the message of unity and harmony in the society. In this festival, along with the performances of folk artists, you will also be able to enjoy kite flying and parasailing at Aragahi airstrip. There will also be a farmer seminar and Panch-Sarpanch conference here.  Chief Minister Sai said that the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the goal of building a developed India. In accordance with this, we are also moving forward with the goal of building a developed Chhattisgarh. In the last one year, our government has fulfilled most of Modi’s guarantees. This year, the paddy crop in Chhattisgarh has been good. Paddy is being purchased at the rate of 21 quintals per acre at the price of Rs 3100 per quintal. This year, record money is going to come to the houses of farmer brothers. Right now the farmer brothers are being paid the support price of paddy, soon the difference amount will also be sent to their accounts. Our government has also decided to provide free ration to the poor families of the state for five years. We have increased the tendu leaf collection rate from four thousand rupees to 5 and a half thousand rupees per standard sack.

Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister’s housing is being provided to all homeless eligible families in Chhattisgarh. We approved 18 lakh Prime Minister’s houses for the homeless of the state on the second day of the swearing-in of the government. He informed that Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced more than 3 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Chhattisgarh. He has given consent for 4 lakh new houses to Chhattisgarh in the next financial year. He said that in the new survey, the monthly income limit of the beneficiaries has now been increased to Rs 15,000. Apart from this, those who have two and a half acres of irrigated land or five acres of non-irrigated land will also be eligible under this scheme. Beneficiaries can now apply and survey for their housing through mobile app. State Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, while addressing the festival, said that the guarantee of Prime Minister Modi and the efforts of the Chief Minister of the state Vishnudev Sai have brought happiness and prosperity to millions of families in the state. The public welfare schemes of the government have brought pleasant changes in the standard of living of the weaker sections of the society. On this occasion, Samari MLA Smt. Uddheswari Paikra, Pratappur MLA Smt. Shankutala Porte, Surguja MLA Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Lundra MLA Mr. Prabodh Minj along with other public representatives and dignitaries were present.
