Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the security forces on their big success
Raipur, March 29, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated the security forces on achieving a big success in the encounter between security forces and Naxalites today at Upampalli in Keralapal police station area of Sukma district. Chief Minister Sai described this bold action as a symbol of the bravery, strategy and determination of the security forces. He said that in order to end anti-human Naxalism, our security forces are working to root out the Naxalites by entering their dens. This success is the result of the unparalleled courage and dedication of our brave soldiers. I salute their bravery. It is noteworthy that 17 Naxalites have been confirmed killed in the encounter, while 2 District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel have been injured. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has prayed to God for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers. Chief Minister Sai said that this action is part of the efforts being made towards Naxalism-free India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He reiterated that our target is to make Chhattisgarh completely free from Naxalism by 31 March 2026. This is a decisive turning point, and we are rapidly moving in this direction. Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Chhattisgarh will soon be completely free from the scourge of Naxalism. Chief Minister Sai said that the government is committed to restoring peace, development and confidence in Naxal-affected areas.
