Raipur, 29 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Sushasan Camp organized in village Bhainsa of Raipur district. On this occasion, he flagged off 10 awareness chariots under the ‘Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ running from 29 May to 12 June across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and started the campaign. In the camp, the Chief Minister handed over the keys of 110 pucca houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the beneficiaries, and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved that no poor family in the country should live in a kutcha house. To realize this resolution, our government has approved more than 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas in Chhattisgarh. He also clarified that the remaining eligible families will be included under the ‘Awas Plus Plus’ scheme.
The Chief Minister announced various works costing about Rs 3 crore 50 lakh for the development of village Bhainsa and surrounding areas. This includes Rs 75 lakh for primary health center in village Bhainsa, Rs 75 lakh for high school building construction, Rs 55 lakh for water tank and pipeline expansion, Rs 50 lakh for higher secondary school construction, Rs 20 lakh for compound and shed construction, Rs 42 lakh for pipeline expansion in village Amodi, Rs 24 lakh for construction of three additional rooms in higher secondary school. Apart from this, he also announced to open a new police post in Bhainsa. Chief Minister Sai also took feedback of the schemes from various beneficiaries during the Samadhan camp. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister for the ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’, Mrs. Chandan said that she uses the money from this scheme for the education and essential needs of her children. Chief Minister Sai said that good governance is meaningful only when its echo is heard in every village and every house. Today the keys of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana are not just the keys of a house, but of self-respect and a secure life.
