Korba: On Wednesday morning, a fly ash capsule vehicle rammed into a house on the side of the road on Pragati Nagar-Korba road in Korba. A police team reached here shortly after the incident. They have arrested the driver. This incident took place on the main road near the new bridge built on Hasdeo river in Darri area. According to the news, a capsule vehicle engaged in transporting fly ash was passing through this area. Meanwhile, the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle went off the road and rammed into a kutcha house. A woman from the neighbourhood said that when the people nearby heard the sound, they rushed to the spot. One of them informed the police. After some time, the police personnel arrived here and took the driver into their custody. It has been learned that there was no one in the house which was hit by the accident vehicle at the time of the incident, otherwise there would have been a lot of trouble. It is being told that apart from the TV, fridge, cooler, cupboard kept in the house, food items have also been damaged, due to which there has been a loss of lakhs. It has been learnt that the person whose house this is, his family members reside at another place in the same area. Earlier also many vehicles have met with accidents while travelling at night on Pragati Nagar road, therefore it is felt necessary that arrangements for rumble speed breakers should be made on both sides of the new bridge and on Pragati Nagar-Korba road.
