A major encounter took place between PLGA Battalion No. 01 and CRC (Central Regional Committee) Company in Pamed-Basaguda-Usur area of South Bastar Division. Bodies of 12 hardcore Maoists along with weapons were recovered in the encounter. The process of identifying the Maoists killed in the encounter, members of PLGA Battalion and CRC Company, is being carried out. Detailed information will be given at 5 pm today after the search operation is completed.
