Raipur, 06 June 2025: Block Education Officer (BEO) Jagdalpur Mansingh Bhardwaj has been suspended with immediate effect for serious negligence in the rationalization process going on in Bastar district. This action has been taken by Collector-in-charge Prateek Jain on the approval of Commissioner Bastar Division Doman Singh. According to the order issued, Bhardwaj presented erroneous and misleading information at many levels to the district level committee from development block Jagdalpur for rationalization. For example, in the Government Higher Secondary School of Nagarnar, the junior teacher was shown as senior and the senior teacher as junior. Apart from this, wrong details were also presented in the cadre related information of Vivekanand Higher Secondary School (Hindi Medium), SEZES, Jagdalpur, where the school of E cadre was shown with vacant posts in both T and E cadres. Apart from this, many discrepancies were also found in the information of seniority determination, sanctioned and vacant posts. This modus operandi of Bhardwaj is not only against the guidelines of the state government, but it is also a violation of Chhattisgarh Civil Services Conduct Rules 1965 and Civil Services Classification, Control and Appeal Rules 1966. On the basis of these serious errors, he has been suspended with immediate effect under Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rules. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed as District Education Officer Office, Jagdalpur and he will receive subsistence allowance as per rules. This order has been implemented with immediate effect.
