Bijapur encounter dated 20/03/2025: A joint team was out on an anti-Maoist operation in the Gangaluur police station area on the border of Bijapur and Dantewada districts. During the operation, continuous firing is going on between the Maoists and security forces since 07 am today, dated 20/03/2025. Bodies of two Naxalites along with a large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site. A Jawan of Bijapur DRG was martyred in the encounter.
