Raipur, 02 May 2025: The effect of the good governance policy of the Chhattisgarh government, which puts public interest paramount, is now visible at the ground level. In view of the long-standing demand of the common citizens during Sushasan Tihar, in compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the District Administration Sarangarh-Bilaigarh has given a big gift to the people of Bhatgaon. Now every Thursday SDM Link Court will be set up in Bhatgaon Tehsil Office, so that people will no longer have to go to Bilaigarh, Sarangarh for revenue matters. According to the order issued by Collector Sarangarh-Bilaigarh Dr. Kannauje, the court of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Bilaigarh will now be held temporarily in Tehsil Office Bhatgaon every Thursday. This arrangement will remain in effect till further orders. This link court will make it possible to hear and quickly dispose of revenue, criminal and all judicial cases related to Sarsiwan and Bhatgaon Tehsil. Through this, administrative processes will be simplified and common people will have easy access to justice.
This decision has brought joy to the citizens of the area. For a long time, people had to go to Bilaigarh or Sarangarh to resolve revenue cases. Now, common people will get great relief as judicial proceedings will be conducted at the local level. This initiative is an important step towards administrative decentralization, which will strengthen both the judicial system and the revenue administration. This link court will further strengthen the resolve for good governance.
