Commissioner Bilaspur Division Bilaspur took action
Raipur, 05 June 2025: Block Education Officer (BEO) Bamhnidih, District Janjgir-Champa M.D. Diwan has been suspended for negligence in following the rationalization instructions of the School Education Department. This action of suspension has been taken by the Commissioner Bilaspur Division Bilaspur. As per the instructions received from the government, the priority list was to be prepared by marking the surplus teachers posted in Bamhnidih development block of Janjgir-Champa district. A report was submitted to the Collector by the District Education Officer, Janjgir-Champa, in which it was mentioned that irregularities have been found in the priority list prepared by the Block Education Officer. The process was completed by correcting the errors in the list before counseling, but considering the negligence in preparing the priority list as serious, a proposal for disciplinary action was given by the Collector, Janjgir-Champa. On this basis, the Bilaspur Divisional Commissioner has issued an order to suspend BEO Diwan with immediate effect. During the suspension period, his headquarters has been fixed as Joint Director, School Education Department, Bilaspur Division, Bilaspur.
