He also told that the deceased Kishore Paikra, father late Narayan Paikra, age 58 years, resident of Handipara HMT Chowk near Azad Chowk Raipur was a party to this. The deceased Kishore Paikra had sold his house situated at Azad Chowk to Chandraprakash Kurre resident Beltukri Kharora District Raipur for Rs 50 lakh in the year 2015-16, but Kishore Paikra had not given the possession of the said house to the buyer and had filed an application against the buyer in the court. When deceased Kishore Paikra informed this to accused Ankit Upadhyay, accused Ankit Upadhyay told Kishore Paikra that he will get his said house back from the High Court and in return accused Ankit Upadhyay used to take money in different installments in the name of different works and sold deceased Kishore Paikra’s house in Bajrang Nagar to another person for Rs 30 lakh. Accused Ankit Upadhyay took the said sale amount from deceased Kishore Paikra and used it for his personal work. On which Kishore Paikra used to ask for his money from accused Ankit Upadhyay again and again. Ankit Upadhyay took deceased Kishore Paikra in his trap and said that I will take care of you and feed you daily, even then the deceased used to demand money from Ankit Upadhyay daily and taunt him and also asked him to eat food from different places. Due to which accused Ankit Upadhyay got upset and told all these things to his wife Shivani Sharma and both of them planned to murder Kishore Paikra. Under the plan, accused Ankit Upadhyay himself designed and made his fake Aadhar card in which he wrote his address as Korba. On the basis of this fake Aadhar card, he purchased an old Alto car number CG 04 B 7744 for Rs. 60,000/- from a person resident of Baliara village of Dhamtari.
After this, in order to murder Kishore Paikra in a planned manner, he took a rented house in Indraprastha Colony on 19.06.25. On 21.06.25, in the morning, Ankit Upadhyay went from his house Satyam Vihar Raipura in an Alto car to Kishore Paikra’s house at Handipara Azad Chowk and by lying to Kishore Paikra that your house has to be cleaned, till then you can stay in my rented house in Indraprastha Colony, he took him in his car to the rented house in room number D/321 in Indraprastha Colony; after some time his wife Shivani Sharma also came there on a two-wheeler. According to the plan, at around 10:00 am, accused Ankit Upadhyay and his wife Shivani Sharma killed Kishore Pakra by sitting on his chest and strangulating him, while his wife held the deceased’s leg. Meanwhile, Ankit Upadhyay killed the deceased by stabbing him in the neck with a knife he had with him. Leaving the body in the room, both went to their home in Satyam Vihar Colony. In the evening, both again went to the same room in Indraprastha Colony and wiped the blood from Kishore Pakra’s body with a towel and put his body in a red colour trolley bag already kept in the room, sprayed perfume on it, closed the room and went home. At night, both went to Golbazar Peti Line and ordered a tin box from a shop. Next day on 22.06.2025 at about 09:30 a.m., both went to the room and put the knife used in the murder and the blood stained towel in a plastic bag and threw them in the drain near Bhatgaon. Then, both went to Golbazar Peti Line in the afternoon to collect the box ordered. They bought a tin box from the shop and made the online payment and put the box in an auto and took it to the room in Indraprastha.
As the smell was continuously coming from the dead body, both bought cement from a hardware shop and came to the room. After pouring the cement over the dead body, closed the trolley bag, put the bag containing the dead body in the box and closed the box. Thereafter, both came to their house. On 23.06.25 at around 08:00 AM, both husband and wife went to the room in Indraprastha Colony and when they tried to lift the box containing the dead body, they could not lift it due to its heavy weight. Then both of them went back to their house in Satyam Vihar and called their acquaintances Suryakant Yadav and Vinay Yadav for help. On informing them about the above incident, both of them agreed to help in disposing of the dead body. On which all four went to the room in Indraprastha Colony in two different two-wheelers at 09:35 AM and all of them covered their faces with scarves to hide their identity. Accused Ankit Upadhyay, Suryakant Yadav and Vinay Yadav together brought the box containing the dead body down through the lift and Shivani Sharma came down the stairs. Then all four together kept the box containing the dead body in the trunk of the Alto car and took it to the incident spot to dispose of the dead body and left the box there after unloading it. After that Ankit Upadhyay and Vinay Yadav left the Alto car in a garage in Kushalpur Purani Basti for denting and painting. Shivani Sharma took the Ether vehicle and Suryakant Yadav took the Joy electric vehicle and went home to Satyam Vihar. After committing the crime, both the accused husband and wife fled from Raipur to Delhi by night flight.
