Best wishes to the talented players of the state by honoring them
Raipur 20 June 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the “Pankh Sports Achievement Award 2025” program organized by Bansal News at a private hotel in the capital Raipur. On this occasion, he appreciated the initiative of Bansal News to give a platform to rural talents in the field of sports and congratulated the organizers and the honored young players. Chief Minister Sai said that the work being done by Bansal News for the last three years to honor talented players from rural areas across the state is highly commendable and inspiring. He informed that through this program, Rs 50,000 is being provided as incentive to the selected players every year, which is motivating them to maintain sports activities and practice continuously and for better performance.
The Chief Minister said that as a vigilant sentinel of democracy, Bansal News has emerged as a strong platform for the people of the state. Congratulating the institute, he said that it is also playing an important role in reaching the public welfare schemes of the government to the people. During this, Chief Minister Sai wished the people present on International Yoga Day to be celebrated on 21st June and also urged everyone to include yoga in their daily routine. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Sports Minister Tankaram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, MLA Kiran Dev along with public representatives, dignitaries and a large number of sportspersons were present.
