Raipur, 27 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai handed over the keys of pucca houses to five women including women of special backward tribes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after a review meeting in Raigarh today. On this occasion, he handed over the keys of their new houses to Dilmat Bai, Guruvari Bai and Shaniro Bai of Birhor tribe of Kida village of Dharmajaygarh development block. Along with this, Geetanjali Sidar of Banora village of Raigarh district and Gulabi Yadav of Kukurda village also got the benefit of Awas Yojana. The faces of all the beneficiaries blossomed with happiness after receiving the keys of the house from the hands of the Chief Minister. Expressing happiness, he thanked Chief Minister Sai and the government. The Chief Minister said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is an important and public welfare scheme to provide pucca houses to the poor. It is the priority of the government that every eligible person gets housing to live a respectable life. Under this, a large number of needy families have been benefited so far and the left out eligible beneficiaries will get houses through Awas Plus 2 Yojana.
