Inspection and inauguration of schemes in Achhoti and Murmunda
Raipur 20 May: Under the Sushasan Tihaar being run by the state government with the aim of taking good governance to the people, today Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai made a surprise visit to village Achhoti under Dhamdha development block of Durg district. Chief Minister Sai suddenly arrived in village Achhoti by helicopter and inspected the Mahtari Sadan under construction at a cost of Rs 29 lakh 20 thousand in the DIET college campus. He inspected the quality of the construction work and watered the columns of the building with his own hands to give the message of strength and transparency of the work. Mahtari Sadan will become the center of empowerment of rural women and community dialogue. After this, the Chief Minister reached Murmunda, where he inaugurated 226 houses constructed under the Atal Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister handed over the keys to Tushar, the beneficiary of Atal Awas No. 226, with his own hands and gave him the Griha Pravesh. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also handed over the keys of their houses to other beneficiaries and congratulated and wished them. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and other public representatives were also present on this occasion.
The objective of Sushasan Tihaar is to effectively deliver the government’s schemes and services to the grassroots level, encourage public participation and ensure accountability of the administration. Under this campaign, various programs like Samadhan Shivir, inspection tours, review of development works and quick implementation of schemes are being conducted across the state. Chief Minister Sai’s surprise visit to every village of the state, his own presence in the Samadhan camp and solution of public problems is an important dimension towards strengthening good governance, which has further strengthened the feeling of trust and participation in the government among the general public.
