Raipur 03 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has given the gift of 10 revolutionary innovations to the people of the state in Sushasan Tihar. Chief Minister Sai, while launching these innovations at Mayfair Resort today, said that the people of the state will get relief from 10 new revolutionary innovations for land registration. He said that the government is moving forward on the path of good governance in its one and a half year tenure. Now people will not have to visit offices for revenue related works. Along with registration, the work of transfer will also be done immediately. He said that the error in the revenue records affects the landowner. Someone else makes the error and someone else suffers. Now people will get relief from these problems. Chief Minister Sai said that by closing the offline system and making it online, the government is closing the doors of corruption. On the lines of the reforms done in the coal and excise sector, the process of land registration has been reformed. This will provide relief to the general public. Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is the first state where the Good Governance and Convergence Department has been formed. The state government is bringing transparency in government work by adopting digital governance at all levels and working towards establishing good governance. Along with this, by ensuring effective implementation of government schemes, their benefits are reaching the common people on time. Chief Minister Sai said on this occasion that Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasizes on reform, perform and transform. Moving forward on the path shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the delivery of civil services easier by promoting technology, the state government is continuously reforming in Chhattisgarh. He said that earlier people had to make rounds for months for registry and transfer. Now these works will be done in minutes.

Commercial Tax Minister O.P. Choudhary said that no economy, country and society becomes great until it adopts technology and reform. He said that the Registration Department has worked day and night to implement the reforms. He said that before any change is made in the system, it is opposed, but it is true that change is necessary for development. It is necessary to work with honesty and integrity for the benefit of the public and good governance. He said that the officers and employees of the department have worked day and night to prepare today’s 10 revolutionary reforms, for which they deserve congratulations. The public will benefit from the changes in the Registration Department under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. Commercial Tax Minister Choudhary said that the government has made many reforms in the Registration Department. Now the general public will not need to make rounds of offices again and again for work. The Inspector General of Registration has been given the right to nullify fake registration. The registration fee on family donation, renunciation and partition has been reduced to only Rs 500. Promoting digital governance, geo-tagging of more than 2 lakh properties has been ensured through the Sugam app. This has ensured the identification and security of the property. Relief has been provided to the middle class by waiving the registration fee on sale above the guideline price, departmental setup has been enhanced. He said that the vision of the government is that the government should reach where the common man is and that too with simplicity. The best example of digital governance is in these 10 revolutionary initiatives which have been done through the Registration Department.

Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma said that under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the state is touching new heights of development every day. 10 new revolutionary changes in registration will provide convenience and relief to the common man. This joint effort of the Revenue and Registration Department will work to give a new direction to land registration for the people. The public will get its benefits. The Revenue Department is a department connected to the general public, the implementation of these revolutionary measures will help in preventing registry irregularities. He said that 90 percent of the cases in the Revenue Department are of name transfer. With the implementation of the new system, the number of these cases will decrease rapidly. Our department is committed to providing facilities to the people. On this occasion, Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan said that the reforms done by the government will not only provide facilities to the general public, work will be done easily but corruption will also be curbed.

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain said that the new reforms implemented in the registry department today are about the revolution of simplicity, ease and convenience. These reforms will enable the work of providing facilities to lakhs of people simultaneously. Reducing the powers of the officers is a big visionary work. He said that we got the opportunity to do this work. This is the work of increasing the ease of living of the public. Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department, Mrs. Alarmel Mangai D. gave detailed information about the reforms implemented in the registration department. She said that now the common people do not even need to go to the registry office for registration. Now the registry will be done from home. After the registration of the property, there will be no need to apply for transfer in the Revenue Department, now the transfer will be done on time along with the registration of the property. Fake purchase-sale of land and fraud will be stopped. The facility of Aadhaar based authentication of any land i.e. biometric identification due to Aadhaar link will prevent fraud. The registration process has been made online. With the introduction of the facility of auto deed generation, the parties will not have to visit different people like deed writer, stamp vendor etc. to prepare documents, buy stamp, take appointment and submit registration. The beneficiaries who got the registry done today told that the registry took 15-20 minutes, and the transfer of name was also done simultaneously.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai discussed with the people who got the registry done today through video conference. Mohanlal Sahu of Sanoud village of Balod district said that earlier one had to make rounds for a week or two to get the registry done. It used to take from morning to evening to get the registry done. Today it took 15-20 minutes to get the 1700 sq. ft. land registered in the name of his son. It felt like a dream has come true. The Chief Minister asked whether he had to put his thumb impression. Sahu said no. He thanked Chief Minister Sai for the improvements made in the registry. When the Chief Minister asked, he told that the transfer of name was also done along with the registry. Ayub Ahmed of Raipur told that earlier it used to take 2-3 months to get the transfer done. Today the registry was done quickly and the transfer was also done. He thanked the Chief Minister, Commercial Tax Minister and Revenue Minister for this. Chief Minister Sai distributed transfer certificates to Prasanna Shukla of Balodabazar, Ved Prakash Sinha of Mandirhasaud, Praveen Shukla of Balodabazar, Dinesh Yadav, Dinesh Patel Pandaria in the program. On this occasion, a video was shown about the reforms done in the Registration Department. On this occasion, State Industrial Development Corporation Chairman Rajiv Agarwal, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Inspector General of Registration Pushpendra Meena, concerned officers and employees and a large number of citizens were present.
