Foundation stone of AI Data Center of M/s Rack Bank will be laid
Raipur, 02 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will launch 10 new innovation-based facilities of the Registration Department and lay the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art AI Data Center proposed by M/s Rack Bank in a program organized in Nava Raipur on May 3. This program will be a very important step towards strengthening the digital infrastructure of the state and providing transparent, simple and technically accessible services to the common citizens. The registration system has been made completely digital and simple by the Registration Department for the convenience of common citizens, transparency and security of documents. These facilities include technical services like Aadhaar based authentication, online search and download, cashless payment, DigiLocker, WhatsApp notification, registry at home, DigiDocument, automatic transfer. With these facilities, the registry process will be paperless, safe and comfortable for the citizens. Now common citizens will be able to get registry related services at home, which will save time, labor and money.
The AI data center, whose foundation stone will be laid by Chief Minister Sai in the program, is being established as a special economic zone in Sector 22 of Nava Raipur. In the first phase, this center of 5 MW capacity will be based on solar energy following environmental protection standards and in future its capacity can be expanded up to 150 MW. This project with an investment of about 1000 crores will create employment opportunities for more than 500 people. This unit will develop as an anchor unit under the state’s industrial policy year 2024-30. Along with this, the foundation will be laid for the development of a new eco-system related to IT, ITES, electronics and data services in the state.
