Raipur 19 March 2025: During his two-day stay in New Delhi, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met various senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Communications and Development of North-Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, MP Tejasvi Surya and held detailed discussions on the development of Chhattisgarh, industrial policy, Naxal eradication and development of Bastar. Cordial meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, detailed discussion on Chhattisgarh development Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had a cordial meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament House. The meeting discussed the industrial development of Chhattisgarh, the master plan for the development of Bastar and the expansion of infrastructure, industry and tourism centers in Naxal-affected areas. Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to take the state to new heights of development with full commitment.
Chief Minister Sai also presented the outline of the proposed Chhattisgarh tour on March 30 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this visit, various important development projects will be inaugurated in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while praising the Bastar Vikas Yojana, assured all possible cooperation to the state government. Decisive discussion with Union Home Minister Amit Shah – Focus on strategy to end Naxalism and rapid development of Bastar Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at his residence and discussed in detail about the complete elimination of Naxalism, overall development of Bastar and increasing economic activities in the state. The Chief Minister informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah that Naxalism is in its last stage in Chhattisgarh and the state government is taking decisive steps. Due to the joint efforts of the Center and the State Government, the grip of Naxalite organizations has weakened and Chhattisgarh is now moving towards a new era. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while appreciating the efforts of the state government, assured all possible cooperation.
Discussion on Energy and Urban Development with Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed issues related to expansion of energy sector and urban development in Chhattisgarh. Union Minister of State and Bilaspur MP Tokhan Sahu was also present in the meeting. Dialogue with MPs of Chhattisgarh – Discussion focused on state development Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met the MPs of Chhattisgarh at Parliament House and discussed the development plans of the state, Centre-State coordination and progress of major projects. Master Plan of Bastar Development – Expansion of coordination and cooperation with the Central Government Chief Minister Sai presented the Master Plan for the overall development of Bastar region to the Central Government, in which special emphasis was laid on new opportunities for roads, electricity, water, education, health, industry and tourism. The objective of this master plan is to bring Naxal-affected areas into the mainstream of development and provide new employment opportunities to the local youth. The Central Government accepted this master plan positively and assured all possible assistance. Discussions were held on various issues with the Central Government for the development of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s visit to Delhi was very successful for increasing coordination with the Central Government for the development of Chhattisgarh and taking decisions on important issues. Chief Minister Sai received strong cooperation and support from the Central Government for the development plans of the state. His important meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, various Union Ministers and MPs are expected to give new momentum and direction to the development of Chhattisgarh.
