Big Leap In Health Services In Bastar, 19 Health Centers Got Certified

Raipur 27 February 25: A major improvement is being seen in health services under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) in Bastar district. So far 19 health centers in the district have been certified as NQAS, which has strengthened the medical system here. District Program Manager Dr. Reena Laxmi said that 19 health facilities in Bastar district have received national level quality status under NQAS certification, which makes it clear that the medical system of Bastar is improving. Evaluation is done on strict standards, survey is done on more than 19 points. Health centers are tested on more than 19 quality standards to get national level certification. This includes cleanliness, availability of medicines, condition of equipment, infection control, patient satisfaction, efficiency of doctors and staff, emergency services and other medical facilities.

Quality certification has increased the hope of getting better treatment, advanced facilities and high quality health services to health centers located in rural and urban areas. In the coming times, Bastar district can become even more leading in terms of health services. According to the report of Bastar District NQAS Program 2024-25, there are a total of 281 health facilities in Bastar district, out of which 138 were selected for NQAS assessment. Who got the certificate when: Adawal certified in 2022, Certified in 2023: Kalcha, Kumharwand, Jagdalpur Maharani Hospital, 2024 Keslur, Palwa, Telimarenga, Madpal, Ulnar, Chhindgur, Tarapur, Mongrepal, Markel, Kachchnar, Kurenga, Karanji, Jamawada, 2025: Quality certification of UPHC Geemad Road, UPHC Dhamarpura passed.
