Raipur – Today, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, the water works department of Municipal Corporation Raipur conducted a campaign to clean the silt of 3500 kilolitre capacity overhead tank of Krishi Upaj Mandi and 3200 kilolitre capacity overhead tank of Changorabhatta. After regular water supply in the morning to Krishi Upaj Mandi and Changorabhatta overhead tank, while cleaning the water tank, along with silt cleaning, essential work of chemical treatment, cleaning of all chambers and painting was done. It is worth mentioning here that for this work, Satguru Agency and Safe Clean Agency have been contracted by the Municipal Corporation Water Works Department for silt cleaning of overhead tanks under the prescribed procedure. The work of cleaning silt in the overhead tanks of Krishi Upaj Mandi and Changorabhatha was started today at 9 am through the contracted agency and was completed by 1 pm. On 8 February 2025, the silt of Mowa overhead tank of 3200 kiloliter capacity and Shankar Nagar overhead tank of 3200 kiloliter capacity will be cleaned by the Municipal Corporation Water Department after the regular water supply in the morning.
