Raipur 14 January 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s top priority includes the upliftment of tribal society. He gave an opportunity to a tribal woman for the highest post of the country, the President. Today the President of the country is a tribal, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh is a tribal, this is the result of the thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas is the motto of our government. Through this, we will be successful with your cooperation in making Chhattisgarh a developed state under Vision-2047. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the annual conference of All India Kanwar Samaj organized in Pamshala of Jashpur district. Chief Minister Sai said that there is a double engine government in Chhattisgarh. Due to this, people are getting full benefit of the schemes of both the state government and the central government. We have fulfilled most of the guarantees of Modi ji in the last one year. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has started ambitious schemes like PM Janman, Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Yojana for the overall development of the tribal community and to connect them with the mainstream. In these schemes, he has taken care of every need of the tribals from education, health, nutrition, employment and housing. The Chhattisgarh government is rapidly benefiting the tribal community in these schemes. Our government is making every possible effort to bring prosperity in the lives of all sections along with the tribal community and for their upliftment.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs 20 lakh for making Snake Park and Tapkara a tehsil in Farasbahar and leveling the stadium of Pamshala. In the program, Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 507 development works costing Rs 87 crore 31 lakh 98 thousand. These include the ground breaking ceremony of 483 works costing Rs 85.08 crore and inauguration of 24 works constructed at a cost of Rs 2.23 crore. Chief Minister Sai said that on the second day of oath-taking, in the first cabinet meeting, we had taken an immediate decision to benefit 18 lakh families of the state through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. We have increased the tendu leaf collection rate from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,500 per standard sack. This has brought about a change in the standard of living of the tribal brothers. He said that we are purchasing paddy in the state at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and as per the guarantee of paddy purchase at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. We are paying the support price to the farmers immediately. As soon as paddy purchase is over, the difference amount will also be deposited in their bank accounts.

Chief Minister Sai said in the program that the tribal Kanwar society is rapidly progressing on the path of development. He said that the society which constantly thinks about its direction and condition, discusses among themselves, removes evils, identifies the obstacles to development and tries to remove them, no one can stop that society from moving forward. He said that this is also an opportunity to share our achievements and learn from each other’s experiences and inspire each other. Addressing the program, Mrs. Gomti Sai of Sarguja Tribal Development Authority announced to give Rs 20 lakh to the Kanwar community for development works. In the program, Chief Minister Mr. Sai released the book ‘Kanwar Janjati Ke Samajik Evam Arthik Vikas’ and ‘Badalta Abujhmad Aur Anya Kahaniyaan’ written by retired IAS officer Mr. Maheshwar Sai. Former MP Mr. Nandkumar Sai, Chief Minister’s wife Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, President of Kanwar community Mr. Bharat Sai and many public representatives and dignitaries were present in the program.
