Raipur 12 January 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated the people of the state, especially the Sikh community, on the occasion of Lohri festival. The Chief Minister has said in his congratulatory message that the festival of Lohri is celebrated in the joy of new harvest. It is also called the festival of farmers. Lohri festival is a symbol of social unity and family harmony. Agnidev is worshiped collectively on the day of Lohri. On this day people share the happiness of life through dance and music. The Chief Minister said that the festival of Lohri is not only associated with agriculture and nature, but it is also a symbol of our culture, tradition and collectivity. Through this festival, we spread the message of love, brotherhood and prosperity in our society. He said that the festival of Lohri should bring good health, happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life.
