19th National Jamboree To Be Held In Chhattisgarh

Raipur. A delegation led by Raipur Lok Sabha MP and former Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, along with National Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister and Patron of Chhattisgarh State Bharat Scouts and Guides Association Shri Vishnudev Sai at his residence office here this evening.

During the meeting, hosting of the 19th National Scouts and Guides Jamboree and the first World Jamboree of World Girl Guides in the last quarter of the year 2025 was discussed.

The meeting was held in the context of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations being celebrated by the Bharat Scouts and Guides from November 2024 to November 2025, which marks the 75th anniversary of the unification of all Scouting and Guiding organizations on 7 November 1949.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai was presented with a symbolic Scout scarf, a coffee table book titled What is Scouting and reports of the previous jamboree. The delegation briefed him about the national and international activities of the Scouts and Guides, especially the work done in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister showed keen interest in the contributions made by the Scouts and Guides and appreciated their exceptional service work, especially during the Corona pandemic.

In his work and conduct like a true Scout, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has shown his firm commitment to the development of tribal youth in particular. Recognizing the invaluable role played by the Scouts and Guides in shaping the future of the youth of the nation, the Chief Minister gladly agreed to host the Diamond Jubilee, 19th National Jamboree and the first World Jamboree of the Girl Guides in Chhattisgarh.

Brijmohan Agrawal and the delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Scouting community. This prestigious event will provide a unique opportunity to the youth of Chhattisgarh to interact, exchange views and network with Scouts from the country and abroad. Also, this jamboree will become an important platform to showcase the progress and rich cultural heritage of the state.
