As per the orders of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra and as per the instructions of Municipal Corporation Zone 8 Zone Commissioner Arun Dhruv and Municipal Corporation Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi, a surprise inspection of cleanliness was done in Hirapur liquor distillery in the area under Veer Savarkar Nagar Ward No. 1 in Zone 8 under the leadership of Zone 8 Zone Health Officer Gopichand Dewangan on receiving public complaint. During this inspection, domestic gas cylinders were immediately seized from the snack shops and action was taken to send them to the District Food Branch located in the District Collector’s premises under the procedure as per the rules. Along with this, a total fine of Rs 8000 was collected from the concerned shop operators after heavy dirt was found in 15 snack shops in the Hirapur liquor distillery premises, warning them to take strict action as per the rules for the future.
